Cole Academy is THE training facility in the area!

All gymnasts will be trained on vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline. Our skilled and knowledgeable instructors know how to teach and spot skills safely. Whether they just want to do gymnastics for fun or have dreams of being a competitive gymnast, Cole Academy is the place to be in Muncie and the surrounding areas!

Get Started

We have 2 locations to accommodate our many recreational and competitive gymnasts.

Keesling Location

Our Mommy & Me, Preschool, and 5-6 year-old Beginner classes practice at our Keesling location. This location is also the home of our recreational dance program.

Morrison Location

This location, at the corner of Morrison and Woods Edge Lane, houses our competitive Twisters gymnastics team and PreTeam programs.  

Also at the Morrison Location:

  • 4 year old intermediate Rain Drops
  • 5-6 year old intermediate 
  • 7+ year old beginner, intermediate and advanced gymnasts

Recreational gymnasts can add, transfer, or drop throughout the year. Gymnasts are skill tested and you can access those evaluations through the Cole Academy app. Parents will be notified if their child is ready to “move up” to a different class.

We have several optional recreational tumbling meets where they will have the opportunity to show off their skills to family and friends! There are no extra practices for the tumbling meets, you just sign up and show up! They will work on routines during their normal class time.

Another optional opportunity is the Christmas Show and Summer Recital where recreational gymnasts can perform! They will come to 2 extra Friday evening practices before the show and receive a special leotard to wear! Your family and friends will be so excited to come watch them show off their skill on the big Emens Auditorium stage. The Twisters Gymnastics Team usually makes an appearance at these shows as well.

Classes

Recreational Gymnastics is great way to get exercise, build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun! The emphasis is on training the children properly from the start and making sure they know how to safely do gymnastics. With a fully equipped gym, phenomenal instructors, and a fun/supportive environment, this will be an activity that your child will look forward to each week!.

Please wear hair up for ALL classes. Boys should wear T-Shirt or Tank with Shorts.

Recommended attire for all Gymnastics Classes:

  • Gymnastics Leotard (GK, Motionwear, etc.) available at Duet Dance & Activewear
  • Gymnastics Shorts Optional
  • No Socks or Shoes

Our 5-6 year-old classes are split by beginner and intermediate. Our beginner classes are 1 hour long and located at our Keesling location. Our intermediate classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long and located at our Morrison location.
